Jane is 45 - her pay in the last 12 months has been £18,000 and she has been a member for ten years. If she dies, we will base her dependant's benefits on the ten years she has built up so far plus the 20 years she would build up by age 65.

Remember, even if Jane leaves the Scheme and leaves her benefits deferred with us, or dies in retirement, her family will still have the cover of a pension.
