The amount of pension is based on the membership & pay you left with, and depends on which dependants you leave.
Pension for husband, wife, civil partner or nominated cohabiting partner
PAY x MEMBERSHIP ÷ 160
Only based on membership from 6 April 1988 for civil partners and nominated cohabiting partners. |
Pension for ONE child, where we also pay a pension to your husband/wife/civil partner or nominated cohabiting partner

Pension for ONE child, where there is NO pension for a husband/wife/civil partner or nominated cohabiting partner

Pension for TWO OR MORE children, where we also pay a pension to your husband/wife/civil partner or nominated cohabiting partner

Pension for TWO OR MORE children, where there is NO pension for a husband/wife/civil partner or nominated cohabiting partner
|
If you got married after you retired, not all your membership may count towards a pension for your husband/wife/civil partner/nominated cohabiting partner.
