If you are already paying into the LGPS on 31 March 2008 you are automatically transferred to the new Scheme on 1 April 2008. As a member of the Scheme you already know that the LGPS is a valuable part of your employment package. The changes that apply from April 2008 have been designed to keep the Scheme's benefits attractive and affordable.
