If so, this membership only counts towards your pension, not your lump sum. We haven't included it in the amount of membership shown, but it is reflected in the amount of your pension.
Are you paying Prudential AVCs?
If you are paying AVCs to provide a separate pension or extra life cover, these are not shown on this illustration, but you will get a separate statement from Prudential.
Did you transfer your Prudential AVCs into the Scheme to count as membership?
If so, this membership only counts towards your pension, not your lump sum, but it is included in the total membership shown.
Are you a married man with membership before April 1972?
This membership won't count in full unless you have paid extra, and the membership on your illustration takes account of this if it applies to you.
Are you a single man with membership before April 1972?
Because of this, no spouses benefits are shown. If you ever get married, your own benefits may be reduced, but spouses benefits will apply.
Are you a re-employed pensioner?
If so, this illustration doesn't take account of the pension you are already drawing. Also, please note that the spouse's pension may be less, as may your benefits at retirement.
Do you have a certificate of protection of pay?
Your illustration is still based on your actual pay over the year. If the certificate still applies at the time you retire, and gives better benefits, you can ask us to use this instead.
Do you have deferred benefits too?
If so, these are not included in this illustration - you will get a separate illustration covering these. Also your benefits at retirement may be less depending on the amount of your deferred benefits.
Do you have more than one job?
If your employer treats them separately for pension purposes, you will get a separate illustration for each job.
