If you are unhappy about any aspect of your pension, for example a decision that has been made by ourselves or your employer about your pension, then you can raise a formal dispute through our disputes procedure.
We have a two stage procedure, where you first dispute with whoever you feel is at fault - either your employer or ourselves at GMPF. Then, if you are not satisfied, or you haven't heard back within a set time, you can then go to stage 2 of the dispute procedure, which involves appealing to a referee appointed by ourselves.
If you want to raise a dispute, you can find more details of the procedure in our How to Raise a Dispute factsheet. This also includes a form you should use to help you put your case clearly. You can download a copy below, or if you prefer, we can post you a copy if you ring our helpline.
