The FSS is a summary of GMPF's approach to funding liabilities. This statement sets out how the Administering Authority has balanced the conflicting aims of affordability of contributions, transparency of processes, stability of employers' contributions and prudence in the funding basis.
It is the Fund's policy to routinely publish full listings of its Holdings (excluding direct property) once per annum, as at the end of the accounting year, in conjunction with the final audit sign off of the Fund's Annual Report and Accounts.

This guidance has been issued by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and aims to help all those with a specific role in relation to the LGPS rules on ill health retirement to understand those rules and their role properly.
