Pension Awareness Week is a five day event held each year that aims to promote the importance of pensions and provide help and advice through videos and live events.
This year’s pension awareness week is from 14 to 18 September. You can find out more about the pension awareness campaign by visiting the www.pensionawarenessday.com website.
Also kicking off in September is the Pension Attention campaign. Pension Attention runs each year to encourage everyone to think about their pension, whether that’s checking for lost pension, or planning for the future you want. You can find out more about Pension Attention by visiting the pensionattention.co.uk website.
Here at GMPF, we're holding online and in-person events to help you learn more about your pension.
- 20-minute drop-in sessions at GMPF's offices on Wednesday 16 September, where you can receive support with using My Pension and ask general pension-related questions.
- An online Pensions Overview webinar on Thursday 17 September, designed to help you better understand your pension benefits and the services available to you.
You can book your place on our Events webpage.
We’ll also be getting involved by highlighting some of our resources which are specific to your GMPF pension. We’ll also be posting information on our X (formerly Twitter) and LinkedIn pages.
We’ll add a new highlight every day this week to help you learn more about pensions.
